About Us

We are a co-op centering Black culture, activism, and self-development. Our home is built on principles of racial justice, community care, and individual and collective transformation. Members support one another while also engaging in the broader work of social change grounded in spiritual development.

Who We’re Looking For

We welcome activists, organizers, students, and creatives who want to live intentionally and contribute to a community grounded in:

● Racial and social justice

● Personal growth and accountability

● Collective decision-making

● Community activism and service

What’s Included

● Private bedroom in a shared 7-unit co-op building (Loft style, high ceilings, comfortable living, new renovations)

● Shared kitchen, common space, and laundry

● Affordable monthly carrying charges (utilities included)

● Participation in co-op governance and decision-making

● Continued Educational orientation and support from fellow members

Membership Requirements

● Attend an info session to learn about intentional co-op living

● Complete an application + screening (credit, rental history, income verification)

● Participate in an interview with the board

● Commit to shared responsibilities and intentional cooperative living values

Location: 1031 E Monument Street, Baltimore MD – close to transit, community hubs, and cultural centers.
